To give a little insight as to why I called the 1st single off ‘Walk Twice As Hard’ “Andy Dufresne (Ambition)”, it’s bc the protagonist was an innocent man trapped for a crime he didn’t commit. Impulsively, that seems like a horrible thing, BUT, it allowed him to use & find every ounce of unknown strength, patience, & wisdom he had in order to “escape”. He fought so hard that he literally crawled thru shit, as well as the “shit” of dealing w/the unjustice he was served, where in the end, he ultimately found out how strong he was. Being born w/a physical limitation is, in a sense, like a prison. People don’t realize it, bc the one’s bearing it’s boundaries & restrictions are strong. From being almost 500lbs & walking with cane to being the man I am today…it took Ambition. It took a mentality like Andy Dufresne’s….Walk Twice As Hard.
