URL | Revelations | Live Updates & Results

Much like we did for Summer Madness 2, we’ve posted live updates and results for URL’s Revelations event. Revelations featured John John Da Don vs K Shine, Cortez vs Tay Roc, B Magic vs Chilla Jones, Bigg K vs Rosenberg Raw and Jaz The Rapper vs QB. Check below for updates from the battles as they happened, based on those who attended the Revelations event. As always, take everything with a grain of salt, because things always come out differently on video. Plus, live crowds always respond differently, than people do when they are able to watch footage of a battle. That said, this is an account of how people felt about the Revelations event, as it was taking place.

URL | Revelations | Bigg K vs Rosenberg Raw

• First battle up at Revelations, and it’s Bigg K vs Rosenberg Raw.
• Round One on Bigg K, after the soundcheck.
• Sound issues, the battle still hasn’t started yet.
• While we’re waiting for the battles to start… Arsonal tweeted some info on UW Battle’s Apocalypse event on February 17th, featuring Arsonal vs Charlie Clips, Math Hoffa vs Shotgun Suge, Daylyt vs Shotty Horroh (!!!) and O Red vs someone.
• Sound issues seem to be resolved, battles about to start.
• Sounds like Bigg K is already impressing people with his first round.
• Apparently, Bigg K took some shots at Bill Collector during his first round.
• First round on Rosenberg Raw.
• Sounds like Raw’s first is a letdown,  and Bigg K already won over the crowd.
• “Stabbing at you with an ice pick until you get the chills!”  - Raw
• Raw ended his round well.
• Round 2 on Bigg K
• Bigg K had a good second, but his first was better.
• Round 2 on Raw.
• Raw took a shot at Mickey Factz, people saying he might be winning the second.
• Rosenberg went in during his second.
• It’s 1-1 going into the third round.
• K’s spazzing out to start the third.
• Bigg K’s got the crowd going with jokes in the 3rd.
• “You look like Lil Ceasar’s mascot” – Bigg K
• Bigg K stumbled.
• Looks like Earl is in the battle, that dude never misses an event.
• “To keep it a thousand, you got 3-0′d” – Bigg K
• Bigg K choked again.
• “Put his head through the window, like a night at the Roxbury” – Bigg K
• If Raw has a solid third round, he can steal this battle.
• “You a wigger, in a room full of niggaz, what you lookin’ for some Ocycotin?” – Raw
• People seem to be giving the battle to Rosenberg Raw, 2-1.
• Raw must have brought his A Game, because everyone’s giving it to him 2-1, even the people who wanted K to win it.

• B Magic vs Chilla Jones is the next battle up at Revelations

• Battle just started, B Magic is going first.
• B Magic’s doing good to start.
• He called Chilla a Charlie Clips clone.

• Magic’s going strong in the second too, bar after bar after bar.
• Magic’s second was even better than his first.

• Magic’s going off in the third too, hitting him with some clever name flips.

• Three really good rounds from B Magic
• Round 3 on Chilla Jones
• Earl apparently said what up to Chilla, he choked in his third.
• Chilla gave up and ended his 3rd early after choking.
• Chilla had his best line of the battle, then couldn’t bring it back. They gave him lots of time to recover and he couldn’t.
• Looks like 3rd round chokes are making these battles easy to decide a winner.

• The ladies are up next at Revelations.
• Battles about to start, QB is up first.
• Jaz is looking cute as always, IJS.
• QB’s first round started, and people are saying she’s going off.
• “I’m on her block spinning shit around, its a tec trick (Tetris)” – QB
• QB just spit a multiple choice, the JJDD haters are gonna have a field day.
• QB impressed with her first, but had some filler.
•  It’s on Jaz.
• Jaz had two big punches to start.
• Crowd went crazy for Jaz’s rebuttal about her virginity.
• “You nothing like Eli, see you hardly win. You get ate back to back, that’s Hakeem Nicks” – Jaz
• Jaz was having a good first, but has a slight stumble.
• Jaz had an impressive phone scheme.
• Jaz had a more impressive first, but also had the stumble.
• Round 2 on QB.
• “If this was Grind Time, you still would have got smacked, white… cause you’re indirect (Drect)” – QB
• “The mack on your face, like its a club night” – QB
• QB with another strong round.
• Round 2 on Jaz.

• Jaz is winning the second, so far.
• People are saying it’s 1-1 so far, because of the stumble. Close battle.
• Round 3 on QB

• QB’s losing momentum, third isn’t as strong as her first two.
• QB’s trying personals in her third, but lots of generic filler mixed in.
• QB continues the streak, stumbling in the third.

• QB finished flat after the stumble/choke.
• Round 3 on Jaz.
• Jaz is spazzing out to start her third.
• “This battle is like a cage match, bars over everything” – Jaz
• Jaz’s best round, she’s gonna take this 2-1.
• Everything’s going right for Jaz in her third, every punch landing.
• Outside the slight stumble, sounds like Jaz took it fairly easy.

• Next battle up at Revelations is John John Da Don vs K Shine.
• John John’s apparently trying to bring 20 people with him onto the stage.
• Predictions? Tell us who you think is going to win in the comments below.
• Guess a fight broke out, nobody important involved.
• Bow Wow’s there to support John John.
• Bow Wow is now also hosting the battle, which is about to start.
• K Shine’s going first, starting off good.
• Shine already stumbled.
• He recovered well, and is going off.
• Shine had a nice flip of John John’s slogan.
• Other than the slight stumble, K Shine’s first was dope.
• Shine has the best round of the night so far.
• First round on John John.
• John John’s starting off a little slow, but picked things up, it’s gonna be hard to top K Shine’s round.
• K Shine’s second, he’s flipping John John’s multiple choice, doing alliterations for each letter.
• John John’s getting upset, during K Shine’s second.
• JJ showing his frustration, saying this and that is wack as Shine spits, and waving his arms around.
• Round two on John John.
• John John had a good punch that the crowd responded to to start.
• John John mentioning Rex.
• John John’s not doing bad at all, but everyone is saying Shine 2-0 so far.
• K Shine took a shot at Dizaster to start the 3rd.
• Shine’s talking about John John’s performance on 106 & Park.
• “Another 6 foot nigga with a deathwish… sawed off shotty, that shit shootin out breadsticks” – K Shine
• “You make the worst life decisions” is K Shine’s theme for the third.
• All three of K Shine’s rounds have been really strong, performance of the night so far.
• You can see in John John’s face he knows he’s losing bad.
• K Shine apparently stopped himself even though he had more and said, “You just lost, I don’t need to continue”
• Round 3 on John John.
• URL’s fanbase turned on John John real quick after Summer Madness 2, not showing him love at all.
• People walking out while John John is spitting his third.
• Crowd stopped John John from finishing his third.
• DNA and K Shine are talking shit now, saying they’ll battle right now, they obviously won’t.
• John John just tweeted “K SHINE did his thing but the CAMERA will show a different story but he won in the building due to my MIC & 1000 harlem niggas…”
• Also tweeted “remind yall K SHINE CHOKED… TWICE & for the CROWD to STILL rock wit him was crazy… but im a man i blame it on my lack of PERFORMANCE”

URL | Revelations | Cortez vs Tay Roc

• The main event of Revelations is coming up next.
• Alright, battle is about to start.
• Cortez is up first.
• “I’m cookin rock, but ain’t nothing crack about you” – Cortez
• Cortez has a strong first, not a lot of updates coming in, people’s phones are dead.
• It’s on Tay Roc
• “I ain’t a boxer…When i throw the hanes (hands) I keep it brief” – Tay Roc
• People are saying Tay Roc got the first, even though Tez’s first was dope.
• Mickey Factz said “Truthfully: Cor 1st was dope. But Rock lost his noggin.”
• Cortez is going off in his second.
• Cortez really stepped it up in the second, gonna be close.
• Tay Roc was using battle rapper’s names in his scheme, and started stumbling.
• From most reports, Tay Roc edged the first, Cortez clearly got the 2nd, so it’s 1-1 going into the 3rd round.
• Somebody needs to start renting phone chargers at events… dead phones have killed the updates.
• Only a few updates coming in, saying Cortez got it 2-1, but not enough to know for sure.
• Updates should start coming back in once the venue lets out.
• Sounds like it was 2-1 for one or the other, in a close battle.
• People are starting to say Tay Roc took it as well now, seems like it’s one of those battles that will be decided on video.
