UPDATE: The battle is now back up, and about to reach a million views.
With less than 2,000 views to go before hitting a million views, King of the Dot’s Dizaster vs DNA battle was falsely flagged by someone to YouTube, and has been diasbled. Organik said that the video has not been deleted, and should be put back online with its views intact shortly, on a post on RapMusic.com.
This has been an issue with battle rap recently, and is not the first time a high profile battle has been falsely flagged. One of Don’t Flop’s most popular battles, featuring Lunar C & Matter vs Eddie P & Frisko was actually deleted from youtube, after a disgruntled fan repeatedly reported the video.
It’s unfortunately something that leagues have to deal with, because of Google’s better-safe-than-sorry mentality, when it comes to issues like this. They will often pull a video, and it’s then on the channel to prove their validity after the fact, in essentually a guilty until proven innocent fashion. Thankfully, the video was just disabled and not deleted, so the issue should be resolvable, in this instance.
