The second battle officially announced for KOTD Fresh Coast’s Vendetta event, taking place on June 9th in Los Angeles, will be Illmaculate vs Arsonal. Many would argue that these two emcees personify their respective lanes in battle rap culture, and this is a battle that fans have been asking about for months. These two had almost faced each other before, on multiple occasions, but it always fell through for one reason for another. Many had begun to wonder if the dream match would ever come to fruition. It appears that they can put those feelings to rest, because it will finally be going down at Vendetta.
This event will be headlined by the much anticipated clash between arguably the Fresh Coast’s most iconic figure in Dizaster, and none other than Canibus. While no other battles have been officially announced, both Daylyt and Rich Dollarz have confirmed they will be facing each other at the event. There has also been a lot of talk about the heavy involvement of URL with the event, so you can expect to see a lot of their artists in future announcements.
